Formerly known as FruityLoops, FL Studio is one of the most complete virtual studio available at this moment. It will play any sample file (wav), generator (softsynth, VSTi & DXi) or midi instrument. The demo version does allow you to save your project, but these can only be openend with the full version of FL Studio. FL Studio does include all of the program’s features though. You can render to wav, midi & mp3, or produce gigabytes of loops and songs for free. This means that with the demo version of FL Studio you will be able to export your projects to mp3 format.
With multi-core support, 64-bit floating point engine and enhanced sampling rates (up to 192kHz), FL Studio now gives the opportunity to serve as the master to other hardware controllers, plugins and effects. Previously, FruityLoops was largely used only to produce loops, having few features or little software architecture for complicated, multiple-audio source production and performance. These days FL Studio is fully capable of performing most music production tasks.
The program is able to work as a multi-out VSTi, DXi and Rewire client in hosts like Cubase, Live and Sonar.
FL Studio is easy to use for beginners and versatile enough to do anything you can imagine once you grasp it.
This software enables you to create your own songs and audio loops. It comes with a large database of sound effects, tweaking instruments and automated tools.
No extra software is required to produce different style of music, as the complete set of instrument and studio tools is included.
FL Studio is a full featured, open architecture, music production environment capable of audio recording, composing, sequencing and mixing, for the creation of professional quality music.
There are too many good featurs of FL Studio to examine all at once. You best try FL Studio on for size and you’ll discover it’s power.
